The Baltic Sea surrounds Finland providing a picturesque backdrop, numerous maritime activities, and an extensive coastline for citizens. The easy access to the sea is one of many factors that makes Finland the happiest country in the world. However, we have only one Baltic Sea, and it needs our help which is why KARHU has partnered with the John Nurminen Foundation. In 2023, KARHU will work together with the Foundation to highlight the challenges facing the Baltic Sea and contribute to meaningful work across the region to save it for future generations.
KARHU and the John Nurminen Foundation have designed a special unisex T-shirt for the occasion, of which the entire proceeds will be donated to the John Nurminen Foundation's projects. The T-shirt is sourced and printed by Finland-based company Pure Waste, a sustainable apparel pioneer, made from 100% recycled materials. The T-shirt is available on KARHU.COM and at the KARHU store in Helsinki.
